Save little packets of salt and pepper to use for cooking, instead of buying large containers of the spice. Purchase your sausage and bacon at the meat counter, so you are only purchasing the amount you need.

Ingredients

1/4 cup sesame oil
1/4 cup Teriyaki Baste and Glaze with Honey and Pineapple
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
3 cups shredded carrots cut in 2 juliennes
1 cup shredded green pepper, cut in 2 juliennes
1 cup shredded beet cut in 2 juliennes
1/2 cup golden raisins
3 tablespoons sesame seeds
1/2 cup shredded green onions, cut in 2 juliennes

Instructions

In a medium bowl, mix sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic, vinegar and ginger.
Set aside in a microwave safe medium bowl, place carrots, pepper, beets and raisins.
Cover loosely and microwave on high for about 3-4 minutes, until veggies are crisp.
